auto insurance NEW YORK — Shares ford insurance Electronic Arts Inc. declined in premarket
trading Monday, and shares of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.
surged, after EA went public with a buyout bid for the smaller whole life insurance game maker.
On Sunday, Electronic Arts said it has twice made offers to buy
Take-Two, which makes games including the "Grand Theft Auto"
franchise. It said Take-Two's board rejected an offer worth $25 per
share earlier this month, and a bid of $26 per share, or $2 billion,
on Tuesday.
Electronic Arts said it released details indie style the offers in order to get
the attention of Take-Two shareholders.
